Seeing four different Minnesota birds of prey at Bethune Elementary School on January 24th, opened the second graders’ eyes to the raptor world around them here in Minnesota. A hawk, falcon, owl, and an eagle were brought to the school by a Minnesota Raptor Center guide and funded by Assistance League’s Literacy program. The informative presentation was a welcoming way to engage students in the amazing and plentiful raptor life in Minnesota.
