Richfield Teacher Grants Awarded

Teacher,Nichol Kamholz, from Richfield High School, received a grant for her project,The Art of Book Illustration.  On the left, is Sandy , the Links to Learning Chair, from Assistance League. The Links to Learning Program awards grants to teachers.

Also pictured with Sandy Warner receiving awards:Jennifer Kersten – Her students will be going to a College in the Schools Physics Class field trip to FermiLab to see the Particle Accelerator, an active physics research facility. – Richfield High School Sheryl Juenemann and Gary Stueck – Their students will attend an AP Biology/Outdoor Environmental Science Boundary Waters Field Canoe Trip. – Richfield High School

Christi Jo Mace – Her students will participate in Crew Out! visiting Craftspeople in the Woods, Metals and Small Engine Labs. – Richfield High School

Brooke Dewaard – She will build a raku kiln for students to create Japanese pottery which incorporates culture science and math. – Richfield High School  

Megan Stecher and Courtnee Jackson – AP Human Geography IScore 5 Apps – They will help provide the technological support to help students taking the course pass the AP exam.
