Student Excitement in Grants to Teachers Program

Our GRANTS TO TEACHERS program is a wonderful provider of funds to teachers of Minneapolis schools and Maxfield and Riverview West Side in St. Paul. The grants we offer are up to $750 and are given to expand the standard curriculum. Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation Awards Grant to Assistance League

All Star Event at Maxfield Elementary School

St. Paul’s Maxfield Elementary School’s Academic All Star event was a wonderful success. Assistance League honored 76  Academic All Star students with shirts bearing the Academic All Star logo and recognized 20 students who demonstrated academic improvement with “Success” wristbands. Assistance League Honored for Make a Difference Day

On Thursday, April 10th, Assistance League received a $10,000 award for the Make a Difference Day All-Star. The award was presented by Matt Lauer, Savannah Gutherie, Jenna Bush Hager, and Jon Bon Jovi. On a national level, Assistance Leaguers rounded up a total of 113, 000 books for at-risk children.
