President Annette Anderson and Clothes for Kids program chairperson Carolyn Pierce accepted a $5,000 check from the Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation during a pre-game ceremony on October 30th. The grant was awarded to Assistance League based on the theme New Seasons, New Beginnings and will help fund new school uniforms  through the Clothes for Kids program to students in Minneapolis and St. Paul.  New uniforms enhance student confidence, resulting in better behavior and better attendance in school while creating a consistent classroom look for the highly mobile population we serve.
The Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation provides and supports programs that positively impact youth here in Minnesota. This grant is a generous donation that fits perfectly with Assistance League objectives in the Clothes for Kids program.
Assistance League thanks the Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation.
